Buffet breakfast at the Hilton culminates our
stay in Budapest. Throughout, the journey, tour
director Rachel Cirincione offers an overview
of the history and culture of the region. Lunch
at the famous Kunsthaus gives us a first
hand look at the wonderful cubist architecture
of Hundertwasser. Here we sample authentic
Wiener Schnitzel, a true Viennese culinary delight.
An afternoon sightseeing tour of Vienna and our
arrival at the elegant, antique filled, family-owned
Sacher Hotel, where we'll stay for the
next two nights. Ideally located, The Sacher is

Old world refinement sets the backdrop for a sumptuous
breakfast buffet at the Sacher Hotel. Afterwards,
a short ride over to the elegant Schonbrunn

by the Maria Theresa, who was inspired by Versailles,
Schonbrunn became the symbol of Vienna's Habsburg

Personal Commentary by Bobbi P. Markowitz
Word of mouth endorsement brought us to Tauck
World Discovery ( formerly Tauck Tours) and it
certainly lived up to its outstanding reputation.
Every travel detail, every amenity, every question
is handled with great accommodation. The week
long adventure was rich in history and phenomenal
sights. Tour Director Rachel Cirincione, and local
regional guides heightened the lessons with their
remarkable and seemingly endless knowledge of
the region. Complimenting the sights, were the
luxurious and centrally located hotels, each with
their own charming personalities, and extraordinary
views. On a culinary level, impeccable, authentic
and elegant are words which come quickly to mind.
Tauck is recognized world wide as a distinguished
operator of deluxe tours - not only by those who've
previously traveled but by vendors throughout.
It's no wonder. Comprehensive, elegant and carefree
- a memorable experience that far exceeded our
expectations.
